Fine Art Prints

Many photographs on this site are available as fine art prints. Once you find the photo you love, look for this button to the right of the image to see if it is available as a print:

All Hank Christensen Photography Fine Art prints are of archival quality and will not fade or shift in color for over 100 years, much longer than traditional photographic prints. All prints are available in three paper types:
  • Luster: The most popular option. Luster paper has a smooth surface without being overly reflective. It lends to a deeper color saturation.

  • Matte: Matte paper is less shiny and has almost no glare. It gives the photo a flatter appearance, and looks great with detail rich black and white prints.

  • Glossy: Glossy paper has shiny finish that gives photos a vivid look. This paper type is most similar to traditional film prints.
Specialty papers such as Metallic, Fine Art Canvas, and Watercolor are available by special order. Please contact Hank for pricing.

Dimensions

Most of Hank's photographs are not available in common portraiture print sizes such as 8x10. These common sizes were established by large format cameras with a 4:5 aspect ratio. Hank's photographs were shot using the 2:3 aspect ratio of 35mm film.

In order to preserve the intended aesthetic of the photograph, Hank's images are offered in one or more of the following sizes: 8x12, 10x15, 12x18, and 16x24. This gives the photo buyer ultimate flexibility in framing the print. He can either mat the print using a common portraiture size (for example, using an 8x10 inch mat over an 8x12 inch photo, preserving the original artwork), or he can mat the print to its intended size, displaying the entire photograph.

Returns

All prints come with a 30-Day complete satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your print for any reason, please contact Hank within 30 days of purchase to arrange a refund.

I found the perfect photograph, but it is not available as a print

Some photographs have dimensions other than the standard 35mm aspect ratio. For example, the dimensions of panoramic photographs change depending on how many original images were used to create the photo. If you would like to purchase a print of a photograph that is not currently offered on the web site, please contact Hank for custom ordering.
